Kemayoran

Previous years ago, Kemayoran was famous with its International airport. All flisght to Indonesia landed in this airport. However, due to the high level of flight and the necessity to internationalized it, Mr Suharto moved the airport to Cengkareng, called with Soekarno Hatta International Airport.



Right now Kemayoran is famous with its apartments, office building, shopping mal, and exhibitions. The following fotos are the current Kemayoran :

Benyamin was a famous actor who was born in Kemayoran. His father Haji Ung set up a bridgde originally from two bamboos only to help people around the area to cross the road. Later the road was famous with Jembatan Haji Ung.
