Museum Sangiran, can be reached from Solo, for about 1 hour by car or by bus. This museum has some kinds of fossil founded in gamping stone layers around Sangiran village. The most interesting one of this museum is that in this village were founded Homo Soloensis who lived 600.000-150.000 years ago. These fossils are the oldest fossils in Indonesia. Beside fossils, this museum also exhibits its fossils collections such as teeth fossil, skeletons etc. The visitors can also visit Sangiran Theater to watch movie about the history of human.
